Our membership is $20 per calendar year for 2026. Stop by when an activity is on and try it out free of charge to see if you enjoy yourself. You can do this three times before getting a membership. COME DOWN 6TH STREET SW IN ORDER TO PARK IN CENTRE PARKING LOT.

May: We have a 50/50 raffle going on at the Centre monthly and you put $2 in the provided envelopes along with your name & number into the 50/50 box. You can't win if you don't put in an envelope.
May: This month Bocce, Horseshoes and Corn Hole (Bean bag toss) will be starting at George Lane Park (weather permitting). That means carpet bowling and darts will be stopping. Keep an eye on the May calendar to see when these activities will start and stop.
May: Chair Yoga on Thursdays have now been cancelled due to a lack of participation. The Friday Chair Yoga is still on and you need to get to the Centre for 11am.
May 2: Green Sweep is happening in High River on Saturday, May 2 so the Senior Centre is looking for volunteers to help clean the area around the horseshoe pits in George Lane Park from 10am-noon. Bring a rake and gloves.
May 4: The next Board meeting will be held at 10am on Monday, May 4th. Any members that wish to attend may come out.
May 6: The next monthly ladies luncheon located at a different local restaurant will be on the first Wednesday. This will be at 11:30am to 12:45pm so you can get back to your afternoon activity that day. A sign up sheet will be posted.
May 9: There will be a jam session with local musicians from 2-4pm and the cost is $1. We will be having the May birthday cake at this event as well. Come out and play some games or listen/dance to the music.
May 10: Happy Mother's Day
May 18: Victoria Day is on Monday 18th. All activities will still be going on unless the office is told otherwise.
May 25: A special presentation will be on Monday, May 25th at 10am with the Pinnacle Group (My Lifetime Home). This company will show seniors what they can do in regards to independent living with assessments and renovations. This is free to all members to attend.
May 30: June Breakfast from 9am-10am - Tickets on sale for $5. We will be serving pancakes and sausages with coffee/tea. We will need volunteers to cook, serve and clean up.
